Beckman Coulter DxI-800

The Unicel® DxI 800 is the first member of Beckman Coulter's new generation of automated immunoassay analyzers designed for large (centralized) laboratories with a high volume of research.

The UniCel® DxI 800 is a high-throughput (up to 400 tests per hour) floor standing immunoassay analyzer based on ACCESS® technology, which includes a unique ELISA method based on enzymatically enhanced chemiluminescence and submicron paramagnetic particles as a solid phase for AG-AT application. Enzymatically enhanced chemiluminescence as a detection method guarantees high sensitivity and a wide range of detectable concentrations.

The analyzer is equipped with an ultrasonic agitation system, which produces a suspension of submicron paramagnetic particles (with AG-ATs deposited on them). Thanks to this technology, the instrument covers a wide range of concentrations even with very small volumes of material. The unique washing system eliminates not only cross-contamination in the assay, but also false negatives at very high concentrations (hook effect). The combination of paramagnetic particles as a solid phase and enzymatically enhanced chemiluminescence as a detection method guarantees high sensitivity and a wide range of detectable concentrations.

Technological solutions implemented in this device make it the most popular in complex laboratories, allowing to competently organize the process of immunochemical and biochemical studies without loss of time, reducing the number of routine manipulations.

Already in 5 minutes after loading the analyzer, the tube can be transferred for further research. All samples and aliquots (up to 288 aliquots) are kept in a cooled area to ensure their stability. The Reflex tests option allows the instrument to automatically increase the sample volume to automatically perform additional tests based on user-defined criteria.

Scheduled sample loading can be interrupted by any number of urgent tests.
