OLIMP CDL is launching a new service - digital scanning of histological slides with recording of the results onto electronic media.
Digital scanning makes it possible to obtain a high-quality image of a histological specimen that can be viewed on a computer and shared with specialists for consultation or to obtain a second expert opinion.
What is this service for ?
- Obtaining an independent expert opinion;
- Remote consultations with specialists;
- Referral of materials to reference laboratories;
- Archival storage of examination results;
- Educational and scientific purposes.
What does the patient receive ?
Following the scanning procedure, patients receive high-resolution digital images of histological slides recorded on a USB flash drive.
Biomaterial
Prepared histological slides must be provided to perform the examination.
Important
A USB flash drive is required to record the results. The flash drive must be provided by the customer when requesting the service.
