Special Offer! seasonal allergy diagnostics from 05.05 to 30.06.2026

Sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itchy eyes are not always caused by a common cold. These symptoms may be related to an allergy to plant pollen. Since the flowering season is still ongoing, now is an especially important time to identify the possible source of the allergy.

Tests included in the promotion:

Allergic reactions can develop to different types of pollen. At the same time, the symptoms often appear similar regardless of the underlying cause.

  • Seasonal allergies are most commonly associated with tree and grass pollen.
  • Allergy symptoms may resemble those of the common cold.
  • In June, active flowering of plants continues in many regions of Kazakhstan.
  • These tests help identify potential allergens responsible for triggering the body's reaction.

Without proper diagnostics, it is difficult to determine:

  • which plant is causing the reaction;
  • whether the symptoms are actually related to an allergy;
  • whether cross-reactivity to other allergens exists;
  • which factors require special attention during the flowering season.

The most common seasonal allergens

Birch

  • Birch is considered one of the most common seasonal allergens. Even a small amount of birch pollen can trigger pronounced symptoms in sensitive individuals. In addition, birch allergy may be associated with cross-reactive responses to certain foods and other plant allergens.

Timothy Grass

  • Timothy grass belongs to the grass family and is one of the common causes of allergy during the flowering season of meadow plants. During periods of active pollination, symptoms may worsen after prolonged outdoor activities, walks in parks, or trips to the countryside.

Wormwood

  • Wormwood pollen is considered one of the major allergens in the second half of summer and early autumn. Allergy to wormwood is often accompanied by cross-reactivity to other plants and certain food products.
