Immunohistochemical study of proliferative activity (Ki-67)

The immunohistochemical study of Ki-67 is a highly accurate method for assessing the rate of cell division (proliferative activity) in tissues.

The Ki-67 marker is expressed in actively dividing cells and is absent in resting-phase cells, making it an important indicator of the biological activity of tumor or precancerous processes.

This study is widely used in oncomorphology to evaluate the degree of tumor aggressiveness and predict disease progression.
