Determination of Factor VIII inhibitor in blood plasma using an analyzer

Determination of the Factor VIII inhibitor is a laboratory test aimed at detecting specific antibodies that neutralize the activity of Factor VIII in the blood coagulation system.

Factor VIII inhibitors most commonly develop in patients with hemophilia A receiving replacement therapy with Factor VIII concentrates. They may also occur in autoimmune diseases, oncological processes, during pregnancy, and in the postpartum period (acquired hemophilia).
