Determination of cannabinoids in urine (chromatography)
This analysis is aimed at detecting the active component of cannabis, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and its metabolites in urine. THC is a psychoactive substance, and traces of it can remain in the body for a long time, especially with regular use.
Method: HPLC-MS/MS with ion trap (qualitative detection)
HPLC-MS/MS with ion trap (qualitative detection) is used to detect cannabinoids, allowing accurate and qualitative determination of both the main component (THC) and its metabolites in urine.
Analyzed substances: THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), THC-COOH (main metabolite), CBD (cannabidiol).
