"Hepatitis C Treatment Monitoring" Package
A comprehensive laboratory test package for monitoring chronic hepatitis C before, during, and after antiviral therapy.
Qualitative and quantitative determination of HCV RNA allows detection of viral RNA, assessment of viral load, and evaluation of the virological response to treatment.
The test also includes determination of total antibodies to HCV. The package is performed as prescribed by a physician. The absence of detectable HCV RNA 12 weeks or more after completion of therapy corresponds to a sustained virological response.
Anti-HCV antibodies may persist after successful treatment and are not used alone to assess treatment effectiveness.

- Anti-HCV total - total antibodies to hepatitis C virus
- HCV RNA, quantitative determination (PCR; 300 IU/mL)
- HCV RNA, qualitative determination (PCR; 100 IU/mL)
