Quantiferon test in Kazakhstan!

For the first time in Kazakhstan on the basis of OLYMP CDL introduced Quantiferon test (blood test) for the detection of latent tuberculosis. Quantiferon test is recommended by the World Health Organization as the gold standard for diagnostics of tuberculosis infection. Unlike skin tests (Mantoux, Diaskin), the test has high specificity and sensitivity. In 78 countries of the world this test is used as a screening test to detect tuberculosis. It is especially relevant for children with a positive Mantoux reaction, as well as for those who travel abroad for work and examination  . The test is performed in all regions of Kazakhstan.
