OLIMP CDL is expanding the possibilities of morphological diagnostics and now offers a consultation service for prepared histological slides.
This service provides an opportunity to obtain an independent expert opinion on a previously performed histological examination, clarify the diagnosis, and increase confidence in selecting the most appropriate patient management strategy.
When is consultation recommended ?
- In complex or rare clinical cases;
- When confirmation of an established diagnosis is required;
- When there is a discrepancy between clinical and morphological findings;
- Before initiating specialized treatment;
- To obtain a second expert opinion.
What does the service include ?
Specialists perform a review of prepared histological slides and analyze morphological changes taking into account the clinical information provided. If necessary, additional diagnostic methods may be recommended to further clarify the diagnosis.
Biomaterial
Prepared histological slides and, if available, paraffin blocks should be provided for consultation, along with a copy of the original histological report.
