"Comprehensive Diagnosis of Viral Hepatitis B and C" Package
An extended comprehensive test package for the diagnosis of viral hepatitis B and C.
The package combines the detection of antigens and antibodies with qualitative detection of HBV DNA and HCV RNA by PCR. It allows assessment of the serological profile of hepatitis B, detection of the genetic material of hepatitis B and C viruses, and screening for hepatitis D.
The package is recommended in cases of positive or equivocal initial screening results, suspected acute or chronic viral hepatitis, and liver disease of unknown etiology.
The results help the physician determine the further diagnostic and follow-up strategy for the patient.
